Day 01: Guwahati to Shillong (122 km/3 hours)

Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport, get picked up and travel toward Shillong along the beautiful NH 40. En route, stop to admire the beautiful Umiam Lake.Continue your journey to Shillong and get dropped at the accommodation to refresh and retire for the night.

Day 2 - Shillong To Cherrapunji (54 km/ 1hour 40 mins)

Have an early breakfast before you proceed to Cherrapunji. The drive to Cherrapunji is breathtaking, especially when you will get to witness some of the most amazing views of the hills and valleys of Meghalaya. Visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, the Mawsmai Caves, and the Arwah caves on this trip. In the evening check in at the Hotel/ Homestay in Cherrapunji and if time permits enjoy some local sightseeing. Overnight in Cherrapunji.

Day 03: Cherrapunji to Nongrihat and back to Shillong

Today after breakfast we will trek to the Double Decker Bridge (3 hrs trek). After the trek, visit local Church, markets and local shops in Cherrapunji. Stroll around the pristine location for more than 2-3 hours before you start back towards Shillong and check-in at the Hotel/Homestay here. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 04: Shillong to Dawki and Mawlynnong

Leave after breakfast for your tour of Dawki and Mawlynnong. Head to visit Mawlynnong first which is known as the cleanest village in Asia. The route to the village takes you through winding roads, offering amazing views of the Shillong Plateau. After a walk through the village, head to the Living Root Bridge, and then move towards Dawki which is located on the Indo-Bangladesh Border. The place is most famous for the crystal clear rivers. Enjoy a relishing a boat ride (optional) on the crystal clear water of the Umngot River and cross the Dawki Bridge (1932 India- Bangladesh suspension bridge). In the evening stay overnight at the Hotel/Homestay in Mawlynnong.

Day 05: Mawlynnong - Mawphlang - Mawlynnong

After breakfast, you will take a transfer to Shillong. First on the way, head to Mawphlang to visit the Sacred Grove, a paradise for nature lovers who enjoy flora and fauna. From here. you will be moving to the Elephant Falls and then continue on to Shillong peak to capture the picturesque view of the city. Up next, you will be visiting the famous Lady Hydari Park, followed by visits to the All Saints Church, the Cathedral in Laitumkhrah. You will also visit the famous Shillong Golf Links and the Don Bosco Museum. Return to your Hotel/Homestay and stay overnight.

Day 06: Transfer to Guwahati Airport /  Railway Station

Check-out of your accommodation after breakfast and you will be then taken to the Guwahati Airport. Conclude the six-day tour and embark on your onward journey, bringing the experience to an end.

Shillong is one of the safest places to visit in India as there are less instances of mishaps with tourists. However, basic cautions must be taken like taking care of personal belongings, not venturing into isolated areas etc.
